Okay i am a tenant that is on the Housing Choice Voucher Program ( Section 8 ). A few months ago my apartment was treated for bedbugs and now my landlord is telling me i have to pay the bill.
Back in january cincinnati had bedbugs added to the list of vermin that have to be taken care of but who pays for it me?
my lease states that my landlord will not be responsible for the removal of any bugs or vermin from the units but they pay for an exterminator to spray on the 12th of every month and also just had Critter Gitter's come and remove two racoons from between my cieling and my upstairs nieghbors floor.
Can they legally pick and choose what things to pay to get rid of?
