We have a contract on a piece of property that has a house with a renter in it. The Seller has told us that the Renter comes with it and if we no longer plan on renting that it is our responsibility to get him moved out. I don't know Ohio's laws on this. I was going to give him a letter that this week that stated that he had 30 days from May 1st to get moved out. What are the laws in Ohio for this?

Generally the new owner must honor the lease between the tenant and the old owner. So if the tenant is under a lease, you would have to abide by the lease until it ended. If the tenant is on a month to month tenancy then you would have to give 30 days notice of intent not to renew that tenancy.
