My boyfriend and I broke up and neither one of us could afford the rent by ourselves so we told the landlord that we were moving out and he was OK with it and gave us til the 15th to get moved out. I couldn't get all my stuff out since i've been working 50-60 hours a week and when I finally got a day off to get the rest of my stuff it was on the 17th.
When i went to the apartment to get the rest of my stuff the landlord had already changed the locks on the door. then later called my mom and told her that if i wanted my stuff i had to call him. I never even got an eviction notice or went to court. So, i was wondering if the landlord can do that?
