A former tenant of mine moved out, owing me over $2400 in rent & damages. I ended up taking them to court and the judge ruled in my favor.
Just today, I got a notice from court, saying they are filing for bankruptcy.
The judgement against them can be part of their bankruptcy?

Unfortunately, it can. You must now cease all of your efforts to collect upon the debt. Your course now is to notify the court of the debt owed to you and the trustee in bankruptcy will apportion out all of the debtor's assets between the various creditors according to law.
