This may be a bit premature as I really need to read my lease agreement more carefully. None the less, could you please tell me if there is any law stating that a landlord cannot change utilities mid contract. We rented our apartment from a previous owner and the owner provided and paid for the heat. We controlled the heat. This is a three unit older home heated by radiators. The new landlord deactivated our thermastat and the temperature in our apartment has been between 62 and 64 degrees since then. Are there any laws about the temperature or changing the utility arrangement?
