Hiya. I have a current landlord that is trying too collect money owed (they say) from me from my previous address. I recently moved too another unit on the same property. The owners are claiming that I have too pay over 800.00 or damages done too the carpeting and flooring alone. They are charging me for the entire product, labor and disposal of said flooring. Now, my question is how can they try and evict me at my new unit for damages from a previous unit that I used too live in. Oh, and I have told them that i am not paying for any damages until the court makes a judgement on it. I dont agree with the charges one bit. A little help in this matter would be great.
