I signed a lease in June 2005 to rent a house in Ohio. The terms are for "1" year (which is a typo). The owners were being relocated to Mexico and wanted me to sign a 2 year lease. Their realtor wrote the lease agreement for 1 year beginning June 15th, 2005 and ending June 15th 2007. On the second page it reads "Lessee agrees to extend the term of the lease an adidtional year at the rate of $200 additional rent per month. 60 - 90 day notice of move-out"
The problem is my landlord just called and said he is being moved back to Ohio and wants his house back. He wants me to move out immediately. I told him I have a two year lease with 60-90 days to move-out after the lease is over.
He says he can terminate the lease at anytime by giving me 60 days notice to leave.
I have 2 small children and no where to go. I have paid rent in full, on time every month and haven't even lived here for 1 full year.
What are my rights? and can he make me move out? He said he has contacted his atorneys and that he is right...
