30 day notice to vacate

We bought a house in March and gave our 30 day notice in March as well. We have moved out before the 30 days were up, but filled out the Notice to Vacate. We are being charged an abandonment fee, and Insiffcient notice fee.

My question is can the landlord do that. Although we moved well before the 30 days waas up, we still gave notice, and the abandonment fee isn't listed in our lease.
