Removal of a 2 car garage

My landlord has been notified that he must remove our 2 car garage. The city has sent 2 letters to him stating that it must be razed. We use this garage for a lot of storage. Does he have to replace the garage or will we be able to legally break our lease due to the decrease of property?

I ***ume you are in Ohio. Review your lease. Does it have a provision indicating that a garage is included with the apartment/house? If so, you have a good argument that he must rebuild the garage or, if not, you could negotiate a new rental amount without a garage.
