After Moveout repairs

My landlord is trying to sock me with painting bills and repair bills for things that he installed.
He installed a baseboard plastic molding that fell off with in 2 months of installation. My roommate and I informed him of it but he never came back to repair it.
This used to be their primary residense and they had the daughters room painted with a forestscape and now I'm being charged with repainting it.

As a tenant what am I responsible for?:confused:

In Ohio, you will only be responsible to return the rented premises in the same condition you got it, reasonable wear and tear excepted. If the landlord makes improper deductions against your security deposit, Ohio Revised Code Section 5321.16 allows you to recover double damages and attorneys fees if the matter has to go to court.
