Breach of lease

I made an agreement to lease a condo from a realator that represented the owners. I was faxed a lease that was already signed by the realator and I signed as well and returned by mail along with and initial deposit request. My check was cashed by realator and all seemed OK. I currently live in Florida and am moving to Ohio for work and all this was arranged in early February 2006 with expected move in March 15th 2006. I called to arrange arrival on 3/3/06 and was told the unit I rented is not available but they have others. What are my options?

You can take another apartment with them or you can request your deposit back and look elsewhere. If you have suffered damages as a result of losing the apartment, you could pursue the matter in court.
