We are considering a Rent to Own for a mobile home. I wanted to be fully aware of my rights and responsibilities before we get into this.
The seller said that we would be responsible for any repairs. Is this legal?
She stated that the deposit would be 2 months' worth of rent. Is this subject to interest?
She also said that the home is not actually in her name, so does she even have the legal right to rent it out?
Also, for future reference, could you direct me to any laws or codes regarding Rent to Own. I was unable to find it on my own.
