my recent rent increase noticed wasn't noterized. is it legal?

I ***ume you are on a month to month tenancy. If so, then any of the terms of your tenancy can be changed with written notice and the written notice does not have to be notarized. With a month to month tenancy, any change must be given in writing and given 30 days in advance of the effective date of the change.
