i was issued a three day notice months ago and the issue was resolved. i got behind again in rent and then was in a bad auto accident and unable to work. the company sent a salesman to the house two days after i came home from the hospital and we gave him a full payment. three weeks later the same month we received court eviction papers. did the landlord need to serve another three day notice before the eviction or is the fact that i was served one months before good enough?

In Ohio, if you can show that the landlord accepted money for rent due after the three day notice was put on the door, then the landlord has waived that three day notice and must hang another to start a new eviction process.
